Clarion Health has made the decision to non-renew our contract with The Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services, effective 12/31/2020. Therefore, we will cease operations of our Medicare Advantage Plan as of 1/1/2021.

April 13: COVID-19: Fraud Alert

To our Members:

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has issued a healthcare fraud alert. This alert noted, “fraudsters are offering COVID-19 tests to Medicare beneficiaries in exchange for personal details and are targeting the beneficiaries in a number of ways, to include telemarketing calls, social media platforms, and door-to-door visits. The personal information collected may be used to fraudulently bill Federal health care programs and the unapproved test kits may cause harm to the beneficiaries.” (Reference)

All of us need to be on the alert at all times particularly at this time of such great anxiety because there are many individuals who will try to take advantage of our heightened concerns to commit their scams. Please be vigilant and don’t provide personal information to any unsolicited requests.
